Hotel Colonnade strives to make a positive difference in our community and is committed to being environmentally aware and socially responsible. We are proud to be recognized with the Green Key Global Eco-Rating Certification (4 Keys) for our leadership in environmental management and corporate social responsibility.
We use an energy management system in all public spaces and light sensors in all meeting rooms. 95% of our light bulbs have been converted to LED, and we are on track to reach 100%.
Recycling waste baskets are available in all rooms and public spaces. We also operate a cardboard recycling program for all packaging received daily.
Dual-flush, low-flow toilets and faucets are installed in every guest room to reduce water usage.
We have eliminated disposable items for associate use and switched to wood stirrers and paper straws only when necessary. Bathroom toiletries are provided in bulk refillable dispensers. For individual soap bars, we partner with Clean the World, recycling used toiletries to help those in need.
Guests are encouraged to participate in our linen reuse program to conserve water and energy.
Filtered water bottle filling stations are available in all public spaces to minimize plastic bottle usage.
